Try to arrive an hour before your event to park, use the restroom, and get ready to trot.

There are 3 great parking options available -

1. Arrive early and park at the Container Store parking lot at the corner of Post Oak and Westheimer - you must access this lot from the 610 feeder, Westheimer exit.

2. The Orange Garage of the Galleria off of West Alabama

3. Richmond Square where Best Buy is located off the corner of Richmond and Post Oak

Remember, the early bird gets the worm and the best parking!

All distances start outside Dillards on Post Oak and the finishes are near intersection of Post Oak and Westheimer.

The event will be sold out before event day so please register as soon as you can!

15 minutes before each event starts or it sells out.

You can update your registration(changing distance, tshirt, etc) by logging into your RunSignUp account, going to the race, and clicking on Manage Registration, then follow menu choices at the top.

Absolutely! It’s a family fun event. This is a great way to enjoy Thanksgiving morning with your friends and family.

Strollers & Wheelchairs are allowed. We do ask strollers to start toward the back and be mindful not to block the course.

We love our furry family but pets are not allowed on the course.

Yes. You need to finish the race by 10:30 am.

Firearms, Roller skates, Heelys, skateboards, scooters and any other items with rolling features are prohibited. Participants who bring any of these items to the race are subject to disqualification and removal from the course by safety personnel or volunteers. Headphones are discouraged for the safety of all participants in the race.

Updates will be posted to the Houston Turkey Trot website & Facebook Page. The Race Director will make a decision the morning of the race. If lighting/inclement weather is present, the race could be postponed or canceled.

No, you may pick up your award at the Awards Tent.

A donor may give any amount directly to Be An Angel. Donors may also be participants in the race.

Registration dollars go to production costs of the event and Donations go directly to our Charity Partner, Be An Angel.

Yes, parents can run with their registered child in the Kids Run without registering. Parents must register if they want a shirt and medal. Kids Run is <1K.

You can post your virtual time on the Results tab starting 11/21/26. Click on the Submit Results button and follow the prompts.
